Sahara 4x4 and Trekking-Tour to Erg Zahar

With our trekkings you leave your everyday life behind. You dive into the fascination and beauty of the desert. You get to know the life of the Berbers and Nomads. Our guides cook for you traditional food and you sleep in small tents or under the thousands of stars. Our group size is always small.

Day 2 Mhamid - Sidi Naji

We start our trekking around 8.00 am towards the great dunes of Zahar. After about 3 hours of walking, we reach the beautiful oasis Rase Nkhal with dozens of palm trees for lunch. An example of ecotourism. At the end of the break, there is a cup of mint tea (berber / nomadic whiskey) that will give us the energy for another 3 hours of riding or walking.

Later, we arrive Sidi Naji area, we set up our night camp near a holy place of the nomads. Dinner at the camp fire and a night under the stars. B/L/D

Day 3 Sidi Naji - Erg Zahar

After breakfast, we start into the vastness of the Sahara. We walk about 4 hours, explore and enjoy this fantastic landscape. Lunch break under shady tamarisk trees. Later we reach the singing dunes of Erg Zahar, our destination for the night. Enjoy the sunset on the top of one of the highest sand dunes in Morocco. Dinner at the camp fire and the night under the starry sky or in the tent. B/L/D

Day 4 Erg Zahar - Kraayat Jmal

In the morning and as usual, we continue our trekking through the extraordinarily beautiful dune landscape. After 3 hours we take lunch. We continue to the Kraayat Jmal dunes, where we pitch our camp. A land with sand dunes and a wide stony desert. Dinner at the camp fire and overnight under the starry sky or in the tent. B/L/D

Day 5 Kraayat Jmal - Mhamid

After a nice sunrise, you enjoy the last breakfast in the desert and make our way back to Mhamid. Lunch will be served in an area called Lbour. After another 3 hours, our unforgettable desert trip is over and we are back in the late afternoon at our camp in Mhamid. B/L/D

Day 6 Mhamid - Marrakech

In the early morning, and after breakfast we drive you back to Marrakech. We arrive late in the afternoon and enjoy this fabulous city for the rest of the day. B/-./-.
