Day 1 Marrakech - Boumalne Dades

In the morning, we pick you up from your riad and head towards the High Atlas Mountains. We cross the Tizin Tichka Pass with approx. 2.260 m. We make photo stops and breaks to explore the landscape of the Atlas region.

We visit the famous and well-preserved Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The Kasbah from the 17th century is the backdrop of numerous Hollywood films.

The journey continues to Ouarzazate, where there are some active film studios. We stop for our lunch in Ouarzazate and then continue to Dades through different villages and old Kasbahs. We spend our first night in a lovely riad/hotel in Dades Gorges. -/-/D

Day 2 Boumalne Dades - Merzouga

After a good breakfast we start from Dades Gorges to the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga. On the way, we visit Todra Gorges as one of the most beautiful places in the South before we pass many Berber settlements, which are distributed along the road. We drive through the small towns of Tinjdad, Jorf, Erfoud and Rissani. The route continues to Merzouga.

Later you will meet your new tour guide, and camels, which are waiting to carry you to an unforgettable adventure in the sand dunes. Enjoy the trip among the dunes and a fascinating sunset and take great photos.

The evening around the camp fire with thousands of stars and traditional music, you sleep in a nomad tent. B/-/D

Day 3 Erg Chebbi - Ifrane - Fes

After an early sunrise and breakfast, you ride the camels back to Merzouga and start our tour to Fes via Ziz valley with hundreds of date palms. After 2 hours driving, we get to Errachidia before passing through the Middle Atlas mountains again. Later, you will get the opportunity to view nomads living in tents alongside the way. You will also see the volcanic rocks. We stop in an apple city called Midelt where we will have lunch. This town is a very impressive mountain city at 1488 meters of altitude, well situated beneath the Jbel Ayachi (3737 m). In the afternoon, we continue to the city of Fes passing by Ifran “Moroccan Switzerland” where you will see wild monkeys. Arrival to Fes in the evening which is the end of the trip. B/-/-
